The debut E.P. from Chicago's COMPLIANT, 'ONE OF YOU' marks the first collaborative effort between Disonance Recordings and NoKill Studios. Full of raw and unbridled emotions, COMPLIANT has crafted an E.P. that seems to release all of frontman/songstylist David Downs' inner demons like a floodgate. His vocals express something deeper and darker, showcasing an internal pain that radiates in his voice. 'ONE OF YOU never underestimates the listener. COMPLIANT keeps tracks fresh by using smart transitions and never letting a beat get stale.  'ONE OF YOU' offers up more than can be categorized as Industrial, and returns a melodic undertone rarely heard since the days of Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine. With a wide array of influences from Depeche Mode and Gary Numan to Einsturzende Neubaten and Peter Gabriel, COMPLIANT keeps one foot in the Industrial door, but soars well beyond any sum of it's parts. Blending both mechanical and organic, COMPLIANT gives listeners something more...  something that speaks to ourselves.
